29th Highpointers National Convention
Hawkeye Point -- Iowa's highest natural elevation at 1,670 feet is right in our backyard (less than 5 miles north). It might not be a mountain or even a hill, but it boasts a spectacular panoramic landscape of the prairie and the start of the Great Plains. Thanks to the Sterler family, Osceola County and the Highpointers Foundation this landmark has been preserved and developed for the world to enjoy.
This weekend, the 29th Highpointers Convention will be in the area and organizers are expecting a big turnout. Official events are planned in Sibley and Worthington but participants will have plenty of time for exploring -- so -- stop by and tell us where you’re from and we’ll give you a free sample (while supplies last) of our freshly roasted coffee beans to take back home.
We love meeting new folks and would enjoy serving you the best coffee and espresso drinks in the area. We’re open 8a-5p on Thursday/Friday and 8a-2p on Saturday. Happy climbing!
